I was scared my 10 and a half year old dog Pebbles had bot fly on her body. The receptionist asked me to send a photo to the clinic which I did. They offered me a an appointment today with the tech at 4:30 p.m. the vet looked at my dogs skin problems and said it probably was not botfly but asked me to schedule an appointment for 2 weeks in case she got worse instead of better. I am so grateful they could get me in today so I won't have to worry needlessly.

They have been great with my dog. It is always clean in there and smells like. Bleach. Most of the staff are very friendly and actually care about the animals and you can tell. They return calls quick too. The only complaint is the amount of time waiting on hold just to speak to someone. There are literally 5 to 8 people behind the desk at all times and when you call it takes almost 10 minutes to even speak to a person which sucks if your trying to call really quick at work.

We were looking for a new vet for our dog and was recommended by several to come to Animal Clinic of Sterling Heights. We have been here twice, and I was OK with the experience. I called today to make an appointment because our dog is not feeling well. She's not herself. Their first available appointment is middle of OCTOBER!!--unless I want to call when the phones open (at 5:30 am tomorrow morning and pay a fee to get on the wait list for a same day appointment. Really?!? I think I will be looking for a new vet!

I have been a client here for 15+ years & Dr.Wilson is very reasonable & knowledgeable. He has always taken good care of our pack of 5 & I felt it warranted the 45 min drive (1way) That being said, their service has gone down the toilet & continues to get worse. 20 minutes on hold just to get my dogs records. 5 week’s waiting for Dr.Wilson’s “scheduler” to call me back. I still haven’t received a call. I’m nervous about switching vets, but this place has gotten ridiculous and left me no choice. Maybe don’t accept any more new clients when it starts affecting your level of care for established patients.

They used to be fantastic. Great staff, great prices. Now you can’t get an appointment for TWO MONTHS. Even if it’s urgent. You can call every day at 6am and hope for a same day appointment and pay $25 extra for that… or you can go to an emergency vet. I have no choice but to switch veterinarians now. Sometimes your animal needs to be seen in a timely manner and you don’t have extra money for emergency. It’s been like this for a few years now and there has been zero improvement, in fact I think it’s even worse now. Extremely disappointing after being with them for 15 years. Other offices have higher wait times than before the pandemic but not like this.
